Firey Furnace Hike In Arches National Park
The Fiery Furnace requires use of your hands and good health. Not an easy hike, such an informative hike, you are with a Ranger. Plan ahead, reserve this tour online.
First, research the hike. There are video clips to help you evaluate the hike. Read the age restrictions too.
A nice park newspaper is handed to visitors at the fee collection booth. Trail distances and approximate lengths of time are provided to enable a strategy for exploring Arches National Park.
April - November the park visitor center is open 7:30 am - 6:30 pm. Stop in to get the materials as you arrive in Moab to mull over during dinner. Hot summer months, get on the trail early, have a simple breakfast snack at an Arch! In June, dusk is at 8:45 pm, so set out on an evening walk, make it a sandwich-kind-of-supper, something lighter than usual. Or there is always Denny's (open 24 hours) to eat dinner afterwards.
